I am 7.5 months behind on this blog. 7.5 months that aren't going to get the attention they deserve. At least not on this blog. Rest assured, kids, I've been writing in your baby books, updating your baby calendar, and printing and filing your quotes off of Facebook. So, it's not all lost. As for pictures, I'm up-to-date on prints in albums, and I've made one photobook. As for videos, I've got it all uploaded and edited, and mostly transferred to DVD. I've even put a few on YouTube. So, I haven't been a total slacker! Just when it comes to regular blogging...
It would be nice to 7 months in 7 days, but we'll see how that goes. Here's October:
When I blogged last, this is where I left off:

Yes, that was forever ago. Well, 7.75 months, but this baby girl has really changed since then (and I'm about 20 lbs lighter than this pic, sporting a few gray hairs on my head since, too!).

Tiny Phoebe with her cousins and ever-doting Aunt Grace.

Calvin made our first homecoming all the sweeter with the news of his first lost tooth! He has lost the second highest amount of teeth in his class, with 3 gone.

The hard life of a newborn. We have survived, and so has she.

Oh, so tiny. I'm glad I took this picture.

I love the way she folds her hands and feet.

Admiring the baby back wrinkles.

Calvin and Phoebe were warm companions from the start. He talks to her as an equal, and they are mutually excited to see each other when Calvin gets home from school. Isaac and Phoebe also get along, but it will take a while before Phoebe is interesting enough to make a good playmate for Isaac. He is a great helper with the baby!
Here is Miss Phoebe at around a week old:

In October and November, Phoebe got to visit with her Great Grandma Crook a few times even though Grandma was getting very weak from congestive heart failure. We are so glad they got to meet. Grandma passed away in early December. We miss her very much, and I'm sure we'll be reminded of her in many ways in the years ahead.
Bedtime horseplay:

Are you ready for what's next? Brace yourself for my pictures of Rangefest! All two of them! We really did have a good time! And even though there are no pictures, flag football was played, and chili was still eaten.

Celebrating PaPa R's birthday at 54th Street Grill. The boys were fascinated by all of the stuff there. The food was pretty good, too.

Annnnd...here is what Phoebe looked like at the end of October at one month old.
